Milk glass. It’s kind of an obsession of mine. Every time I’m in a thrift store or antique shop, and I see a piece of milk glass, I have to have it- if it’s at the right price of course. Milk glass is seen in a lot of DIY weddings. I think it’s great for any type of wedding- vintage, modern, chic- the white plays into a lot of styles really well. Why DIY you ask? There aren’t many milk glass pieces that are large enough to have huge, intricate arrangements- just stick a few stems of flowers in a compote or bud vase, and you’re done. Not going the complete DIY route? A lot of florists have milk glass vases because brides love them so much. If you’re planning on exclusively using milk glass, and a lot of it, I would recommend trying to find a florist or planner who has milk glass available to rent.
Clean, fresh, and simple. I love milk glass! Especially because a) I can’t arrange flowers for the life of me and b) they’re perfect for everything. If you’re having a DIY wedding, milk glass is the way to go! Who’s planning on using milk glass in their wedding, and what flowers are you thinking about using?
