This week’s inspiration board is something I’m working on for an upcoming wedding show for “work” (Note: I use quotation marks because I don’t really like to call my job work because I love doing it). This eclectic, chic color combination of pink, green, and orange paired with black and white is a little odd at first, but when it all comes together it’s going to be awesome. Using the different colors in the right places is key, or else it will all just look like a rainbow of a mess. The inspiration for this whole design is a newly remodeled Kate Spade store. You walk in and it’s just design heaven. I’m pretty sure the saleswomen there hate me because I’m always walking in and just basking in the amazingness of the store. (Of course I never buy anything- all thanks to the first years of marriage and husband in chiropractor school.)

I’m actually in the midst of putting together a photo shoot based on this design as well, so hopefully soon I’ll be sharing this inspiration board in more than just words! I”ll be honest, it is kind of odd until you see it all come together. It may be too bold for some, but for others, it could be the perfect eclectic mix!
