You all know I love to celebrate, so of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to celebrate the new year with lots of glitter and sparkle! This pink and gold wedding inspiration from Krista Marie Photography and Burkle Events is filled with glitter and sequins, has a fun vintage eclectic style, and is sure to inspire.
From Krista:
For months, I had dreamed of a shoot that was filled with bright light, glitter, with accents of pink and gold. I found the most perfect location in Lakeland, FL – The {Historic} Terrace Hotel. It is a beautiful venue filled with windows and bright light just streams through the whole room. Once I found the venue, I picked the most perfect vendors. Everyone put in so much effort and it turned out even more beautiful than I had hoped!
We wanted a mix between a modern and a vintage style. The gold and cream chevron sequin runner was probably my most favorite detail. It accentuated the champagne table cloth and tied in the gold glitter than can be found in the rest of the shoot. I adored the bright pinks of the flowers and plates; and they helped the light pink bridesmaids dresses stand out a bit more. The vintage feel of the cream and lace wedding dress was exactly what I had been looking for to tie everything together.
I love how this look is simple, but yet still makes a huge statement! It would be gorgeously done in a room full of long banquet tables, don’t you think?
Are any of you going to be using some glitter or sequins in your own wedding decor? Please say yes!!!

Hello Lauren!
Thanks so much for posting this gorgeous photo shoot by Krista Marie. Would you include the following credit: “Guipure lace ‘Nila’ gown by Modern Trousseau.”
Happy New Year!
Best wishes,

Great work Krista!! Love all the soft colors and glitter.
Love how you made that back drop with the fan like disks. (Same as the bride chair sign) What type of material did you use for this? I’d love to do this at my wedding!!!
Kandid Scott, the larger gray ones were made from butcher paper and the smaller colorful ones were made from cardstock. The gold ones were sprayed with glue and covered in glitter as well :)
There is a great tutorial on how to make the pinwheels on the wedding chicks :)
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it!
