Are you newly engaged? CONGRATS!!! I hope that you’ve had time to celebrate and bask in the newly engaged glow! Some time soon, the magazines and blogs are going to start calling your name, you’ll start getting annoyed by the “when are you getting married” question, and it’s going to be time to start planning your wedding!
If you’re new around here, it might help if you know a little bit about me and Every Last Detail. Here’s my story in a nutshell: I was a clueless bride (read: NOT a wedding blogger), could have had a better wedding if I had just *known* about things, wanted to help other brides from making the same mistakes, took a wedding planning certification course, planned weddings, and after all that, started a wedding blog to help brides.
When I was an absolutely clueless bride, I had so many questions. I had no idea about weddings AT ALL (rightfully so- I’d never planned a wedding before!) and felt like there was nowhere to turn to get the answers. I spent hours Googling, looking for answers, but yet never quite found the information that I was looking for. This is one of the reasons that I created Every Last Detail- to help educate brides about what I wish I had known when I first started planning my wedding.
Which leads me to the title of this post… don’t do ANYTHING until you’ve read this!
Below you will find some of the most important and valuable information here on ELD that will help you start planning your wedding. You’ve never planned a wedding before, so it makes sense for you to be a little educated about the process before you dive in, right?
