A mix of navy and red were the perfect bold accents for this woodland wedding inspiration at the Provin Trails in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Forever and A Day Events and Design created an elegant rustic style featuring the perfect pops of color, whimsical details, and lush cascading blooms, and the details were every bit of the woodland magic that we hoped for.
The bridal look by Renee Austin Wedding added a bit of edginess by pairing a navy lace crop top with a flowing layered white skirt. The pairing made for a fun and unique style, while still giving us a beautiful bridal feel. The burgundy, blush, and ivory blooms along with the rich burgundy color speckled throughout the design made for a lovely accent to the masculine tones of the navy and wood-toned palette.
One of our favorite details of the reception setting are the brass candlesticks with the tall navy taper candles. They add the perfect mix of elegance with a beautiful way to bring in a fun pop of color!
We hope you love the beautiful details captured by Lisa Hammond Photography!
We love the mix of feminine and masculine details found throughout this style, and we really like how that even carried over into the cake design (oh don’t worry, we won’t forget about cake!). Ginger Bakes created a beautiful and simple cake, but we love the modern style of varied heights for the layers and the shine of the metallic of the two-toned cake. Also, adding a fun touch of macarons at each place setting made for the perfect edible favor for guests!
