Why hello again! :) So I decided to deviate from my normal schedule today and post a wedding. Why you ask? Because I felt like you all deserved some pretty! ;) So today’s wedding is from an awesome ELV photographer, Captured Photography By Jenny! It’s elegant and stylish, green with hints of purple, and has some fantastic details! Oh and the lovely bride Channing is sharing some of her insight with us today too!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My mom and my maid of honor were the biggest help in the planning process with getting everything organized and getting all of the “details” together. On the wedding day, my wedding coordinator Emily was my biggest help and she was a godsend!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

The most important thing to me when deciding who to work with for our wedding was how reliable they were. I only chose people who I knew were reliable and had good reviews. I tried to use vendors that my friends had previously used so that I knew how they worked.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

The best piece of advice for other brides is to try and enjoy the planning process and not get too stressed over the small things. Things will still turn out beautifully and it all goes by so quickly, so don’t waste time stressing over the small stuff!

Thank you so much for reliving your wedding day with us Channing, and thank you to Captured Photography By Jenny for sharing her gorgeous photography too!

I am loving the use of apples and the table numbers in this wedding! And the pale green color is just beautiful! Oh and let’s not forget about those candy apple favors… YUM! So how about you all… what’s your favorite part of this wedding? :)

Love the mix of purple and green hues. It’s always nice to see a wider use of color in a wedding.

one thing not mentioned was that the flower girls basket, garters and ring bearers pillow were all made from the brides mothers wedding dress.

Thanks Lauren for featuring Channing and Andrew’s day. We know they (and their great vendors) put a lot of work in to it and it is so great to see it showed off here :)
