Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone! This wedding from Tracey Buyce Photography that I have for you all today is absolutely overflowing with pink and green gorgeousness! Not to mention that the eclectic (yet still quite elegant) style of the whole wedding was inspired by the bride Lindsey’s favorite designer, Lilly Pulitzer! Yes my friends, it’s THAT amazing…

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My mother was an absolute huge help. Living in Florida and having a wedding in upstate New York was a challenge but she made it so much easier. My photographer Tracey Buyce was a big help as well as my wedding coordinator Lisa Light. But the biggest help came from my florist/designer/magic man David Michael Schmidt. I have known him for many years and he just knows me and what I love, and he made that happen for me!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

People who understood me as a person. Who knew that I was bubbly and bright and wanted a wedding to show that exact thing. I hired people with the same head for color and imagination like I have!

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

One name, one of my favorite brands/person in the world: LILLY PULITZER

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Oh gosh, this is a such a hard question to answer! So many wonderful things to choose from, my favorite thing would have to be my life size cows that were hand painted just for me by my florist, and my surprise firework display from my parents!

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Start planning early, things went so smooth for me because I had two years to get it all done. The more time, the more you can enjoy picking it all out and really get to know what you have on the big day. Most details are looked over or forgotten, but since I worked on the wedding for so long, I remember everything.

Ahhh, fireworks?! I’m jealous! And I just love how Lindsey chose to design her wedding around something that was already very much a part of her personality. What do you think of the pink and green in this wedding? It was done gorgeously, don’t you think?!

How about you? Would you design your wedding around your favorite designer?
