So today is 11/11/11… lots and LOTS of weddings happening today! Raise your hand if you’re attending a wedding today! I actually have one tomorrow that I’ve been planning for over a year… and it’s going to be absolutely amazing! :) Oh and it’s my last “official” wedding that I’m planning, and then I’m 100% a FULL TIME blogger! [Shameless plug: So send all your friends here, because this is how I pay my bills now! :)] Alrighty, so on to this week’s Detail To Love…
You know what I’m loving this week? Balloons used as decor! I know it’s definitely not a new concept, but I think it’s pretty awesome nonetheless. I’m talking about single huge round balloons, a bunch of balloons, upside down balloons… it doesn’t matter what kind, just balloons! Here are some pretty fun examples of balloons used as decor…

Oh and you can also use them as table numbers like this…
See? I think my favorite use of the balloons is the whole backdrop, but I’m also sort of loving them as a centerpiece alternative! And talk about perfect timing, the wedding featured today uses balloons as decor too! Of course I think the use of balloons is only fitting for a certain type of wedding- one with a more fun and eclectic style.
So what do you all think? Balloons or no balloons? Either way, I think they’re a pretty FUN way to end the week! Happy weekend everyone! :)

Love the idea of using the balloons as table numbers!!!
I once saw somewhere an “up” inspired wedding that was super cute & used balloons in much of the decor :)
