The coral and sage green color palette of today’s Florida barn wedding is so fun and refreshing! Add in rustic, country chic style, some fabulous details, and amazing photography by Theresa NeSmith Photography, and we have ourselves a gorgeous wedding!

From the bride, Nicole:

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

During the planning, Emilee Yockey was our wedding planner/designer. She was a great listener and it was like she almost already knew exactly where I was going with my wedding theme and such. She did a wonderful job making sure everything I wanted, as far as decor and my personal touches could be done. Nancy Spooner was our wedding coordinator. She is such a sweet lady and they handled the entire day and night so professionally. Thanks to those two ladies and the Cross Creek Ranch staff my wedding day was better than I had ever imagined.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

When deciding who I chose to work with for my wedding I would say it was very simple for me to decide on the venue The entire Cross Creek Ranch staff were so helpful and the venue was so beautiful I just knew right away that that would be where we were married. Cross Creek Ranch also had wonderful suggestions as far as caterers and florists. They did not steer us wrong and I am very grateful for that. When I decided on Theresa NeSmith Photography to capture our wedding photos I just knew her heart was in it from the very beginning. She is a very talented wedding photographer and her love for it showed from the first day we met her.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

Inspiration for our wedding details came from a little bit of everything. We were married on a ranch in a stable so there was obviously the country feel. By looking through magazines, like The Knot and searching through Pinterest we found the inspiration to keep our wedding theme as close to Rustic, Country Chic as possible. I don’t know what I would have done without Pinterest! It was a great search tool for wedding decor and detail ideas!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

My favorite part about my wedding day was when the ceremony was all said and done, and my husband and I got our first alone time to do our photos together as a newly married couple. I remember looking into his eyes and having the most genuine smile knowing him and I were now husband and wife.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

My best piece of advice for other brides would be to speak up and not to let anyone else plan your day or convince you otherwise. Sometimes the planning process gets very overwhelming and at times you don’t want to step on anyone’s toes, but if you’re not 100% happy with something voice your thoughts and opinions. It’s your day afterall!

Oh I love Nicole’s advice. That is something that tends to happen often with brides- having other opinions influencing your decisions. She’s so right- it’s your day, and you want to be happy with everything!

I love the combination of coral and the pale sage green- it’s fun, bright, and has just the right amount of style! And all of the details were perfect- I think the Mr and Mrs banner was my favorite.

How about you- which detail from this lovely wedding is your favorite? Will you be incorporating anything similar to these details into your own wedding?

Your wedding was beautiful! Where did you find your bridesmaid dresses? I’m using coral too. I’m having a hard time finding that color dress
