Hey there everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! My husband and I spent lots of time in our vegetable garden and grilling out. We’re trying to soak up all of this nice Florida weather we’ve been having- we know it’s going be gone very soon! Well, I don’t know about you, but I feel like there’s something calming about Spring- and this classic wedding from Andi Diamond Photography reminds me of that Spring calm. The gorgeous all-white decor sprinkled with pops of red, a beautiful estate venue, and a happy bride and groom are probably what do it. The glowing bride, Lauren, has shared some of her wedding insight with us today, so don’t miss it!
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
We were very fortunate to have an amazing support system! I myself, am an event planner, but the support we had from my family, florist, DJ, Photographer was amazing!
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
The connection we had with our vendors was the most important! Every time we had a meeting, phone call or exchanged emails, it was like talking with a lifelong friend and they really understood what we were looking for!
Did any of your vendors do anything special for you before, on, or after your wedding day that you would like to share?
Andi Diamond, our photographer, was always emailing me articles or sending me magazines about vintage theme weddings.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My husband and I agree that the “First Look” was the best part of that day! It really took all the nervousness away! And it was a really special moment, just between him and I. Oh, and we had an AMAZING DJ! Everyone danced the night away!
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Just take it all in and breathe…Lastly, go into this WHOLE event knowing that it is not all going to go the way you plan, be prepared for anything that may happen and regardless, make the MOST of the day! When it is all said and done, the most important memories are of all the love and support that surrounded you that day! Trust me, it rained all day during my wedding! I even checked the Farmer’s Almanac for 6 years back, and it said ALL CLEAR!!! Anything can happen!
Oh wow, so it rained the whole day of Lauren’s wedding, but it cleared up just in time for the ceremony! Now THAT is lucky! But you see- everything still turned out absolutely beautifully, even with the rain! :) Thank you for sharing your wedding with us Lauren! And thank you to Andi Diamond Photography for sharing the beautiful photos of Lauren’s wedding!
So does this wedding give you that same sense of “calm” that I’m talking about? OH, and I have to bring this up, since Lauren said that it rained all throughout her wedding day… do any of YOU have your rain backup plan figured out? (This is DEFINITELY something I need to post about soon!)
Vendors who made it all happen…
Lauren
