Blush & Mint Southern Inspired Wedding

The Farm at Brusharbor served as the host for Shannon and Jamey’s Southern inspired wedding, where names were written on apples for escort cards, classic BBQ filled the menu, and completely lovely bouquets and centerpieces designed by Chelish Moore Flowers filled the space.

Shannon and Jamey first met during her freshman year at High Point University. When she walked into the room, Jamey said he immediately knew he was going to date her. Flash forward to the night they got engaged- Shannon thought they were watching a screening of the movie “Noah”. Instead, she watched her friends read a letter Jamey wrote, and she said “yes” in the pouring rain in front of both of their families.

Each and every moment during S+J’s ceremony and reception reflected their faith. They prayed together during their first look, washed each other’s feet during their ceremony, and imagined their reception dinner as a communion shared with family and friends. Both said their favorite moments from their wedding day were those when they pulled away from the crowd to simply take in their family and friends sharing the same space to celebrate their love for each other. There’s so much to love about this sweet day captured by Photography by Angela Tucker, and we can’t wait for you to see!
