Aubrie and Trae’s love story started in middle school, took them to college in New Orleans, and despite celebrating their marriage with an Atlanta wedding, they found ways to incorporate details inspired by their time in Louisiana as well as their own personal style and cultural roots.
Long garlands of greenery were mixed with magnolia leaves as a nod to Louisiana’s state flower, the magnolia, while other tables were adorned with linens featuring an architectural pattern inspired by the cast iron gates and balconies of creole homes. The menu for the day was full of savory Southern dishes, and specialty cocktails of French 75s and Southern Mules were made with the venue’s own American Spirit Whiskey. Every detail- the design, the menu, the naming of tables, even the photobooth, carried subtle nods to the place that Aubrie and Trae’s love continued to blossom.
This couple’s wedding day was not only beautiful, but carried so much personality, and truly allowed their guests to celebrate the journey of their love story. Rustic White Photography captured not only the love and emotion, but also this story in the most perfect way.
Did you catch some of the special details that gave guests a peak into their story? We love the simple elegance that they created in this industrial blank space, and they really made it their own. We also can’t get enough of the incredible feature that their bars created complete with the large custom chalkboards and hanging arrangements. They are definitely eye catchers!
