I think it’s safe to say that I am absolutely head over heels in love with this gold glitter and blush wedding from Concept Photography! Black and white stripes paired with blush and glitter, plus floral crowns and amazingly personal details… these things are most definitely the way to my heart. And when you add in romance, an ethereal feel, and a bit of modern style, you have what I think might be one of the most fabulous weddings ever…
From the bride, Ali:
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
Planning: My Planner, Brittany. Ryan and I live in San Francisco, so planning a Florida wedding came with it’s own set of challenges. Brittany was really helpful in guiding me with vendors, keeping me on a timeline and organizing all of the day-of details.
Day-of: My Bridesmaids…they allowed me to feel present. We just had so much fun that day that I forgot about all the nerves!
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
Knowing that they understood what our vision was. I feel very lucky because all of our vendors were AMAZING! I cannot say enough great things about them.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
Romantic and ethereal, but also modern and fun! We wanted to own a lot of the details as opposed hiring someone to create every aspect for us. I was a crafting machine, but I wouldn’t have done it any other way. Ryan might have! ;)
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
Having all of our family and friends in one room. There is a good chance that it will never happen again, which made it all the more special. (We also really loved our flowers. They were incorporated everywhere… from the floral crowns that the bridal party wore and the unique large table arrangements to the surprises of air plants + succulents and the fun small arrangements in eclectic containers.)
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Don’t get caught up in the trends or gimmicks, but rather celebrate what will be looked back on as a representation of the couple that you are. Stay true to who you are and what you love!
Best advice ever! I love that Ali and Ryan made sure to stay true to themselves and their own style. It’s great to be inspired by other weddings, but when it comes down to it, it’s important to make sure your wedding is truly going to be yours.
Ali and Ryan used stripes, gold glitter, and fun starbursts in their wedding decor… are you planning on using any particular design elements for your own wedding? I would love to hear!
