An elegant evening where guests were transported into a secret garden with overgrown vines, cascading florals, and twinkling lights was a dream turned reality for Danielle and Marco’s Orlando wedding day. The lush garden atmosphere created a beautiful escape into this enchanted wonderland, and we love how the elegant details came alive in their wedding day design.
From a simple, romantic color palette, to the beautifully designed dessert table, every intentional detail was so well executed. With the guidance of the talented A Rose Designs Events, and the beautiful imagery by Rudy & Marta Photography we are thrilled to share the special details that made up their wedding day- including hearing from the lovely bride, Danielle!
Tell us a little a bit about your wedding (your vision, color, style, and location choices).
I wanted a garden, romantic and elegant feel to my wedding. The pink, peach, white, and greenery I feel were great colors for a June evening wedding. I’m more of a simple and sweet type of girl and I feel that my wedding really showed off who I am and my vision. The location, I love that Eagle Creek had the lake behind the clubhouse that you can see through the windows. Inside was a perfect size for the amount of people we had. Compared to the other places I looked, Eagle Creek was clean inside and outside and the staff are very responsive, so that’s what made me choose Eagle Creek.
What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?
The most important in the planning process was that we both tried our best to go to all the meeting together. Floral and the dessert table was something that we made sure to set aside a good amount of are budget to go towards.
What were your favorite parts of the day?
The whole day was great! Having both families and friends from Kansas, Florida and Brazil taking the time out of their busy lives to enjoy are big day with us!
Please describe any DIY, handmade, or personal details.
The napkin holders, and the party favor boxes were made by Marco’s aunt. The napkin holders I couldn’t find anything I really liked that really stood out to me and she is very crafty and I thought it would be nice to have her do them. As for the party favor boxes Marco’s mom and aunt came up with the idea and I ended up liking the details on them.
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
I would have to say my wedding planner helped the most! But all my vendors and some family members were great through out the process!
Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?
Just enjoy the process!
That advice… so simple, but so true!
What are you enjoying the most about the wedding planning process? We’d love to hear!
