Ayren and KB exchanged their vows overlooking the beautiful blue waters of Jamaica in an intimate destination wedding ceremony. They were greeted post-ceremony with a steel drum band, rum punches and Red Stripes as a way to kick off the first moments as husband and wife.
After a tropical destination celebration, they took the party back to Tampa, Florida a few weeks later for a Jamaican-inspired wedding reception. Keeping with the island style, they chose to create an elegant island style with bold colors, tropical plants, and a little bit of Bob Marley inspiration.
As a nod to their post-ceremony celebration, guests were greeted with Rum Punch and Jamaican-inspired appetizers, and were invited to take their seats while ceremony footage was played for the guests to enjoy. The bride and groom then entered the reception to Bob Marley song “One Love One Heart” as their first dance together.
There are so many incredible details from both their destination ceremony and their reception back home, you’re sure to love how Kismis Ink captured every moment through the celebrations both near and far!
Ayren and KB’s incredible reception design was pulled together by the bride’s sister, Kristin Rose, owner of Kate Ryan Linens, and we absolutely love how every beautiful detail came together. With bold black and white linens, colorful vintage glassware, pops of gold (all from Kate Ryan Linen’s expansive inventory), and beautiful arrangements created by Marigold Flower Co., the tropical design was everything!
We can’t get enough of this couples’ retro style, and the tropical glam vibe we get from their reception. They definitely pulled this whole look off with incredible form.
We leave you with these words that were projected over the lounge set-up that were displayed after they shared their ceremony with guests.
“Once in your life I truly believe you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are.” -Bob Marley
