Things don’t get any more unique than the gorgeousness that I have for you today- colorful vintage boho wedding inspiration! Wedding 101 Nashville teamed up with Nyk + Cali, Wedding Photographers to create a look that is perfect for a couple wanting something unique, personal, and intimate. Shades of pink, purple, and blue paired with vintage elements and an eclectic, boho style make for one very unique wedding design.
Something I love most about this inspiration shoot is that it was created with the “story” of a couple in mind. Such a great example of how a wedding can be designed to reflect a couple. Here is that story:
Andrew & Lindsay met in college on the set of a short musical film. Two years later, after they both had graduated, Andrew had a dream about Lindsay & reached out to her on Facebook. It wasn’t until two months before Andrew left San Diego to move to Nashville for a job that they decided to officially start dating each other. After a 6-month long distance relationship,Lindsay quit her job & moved to Nashville to join Andrew. A few months later, Andrew proposed & they were married the next year. The overall theme of the wedding was one of inclusivity. They wanted it be personal, individual, & reflective of their family, friends, & their relationship. Both families worked together to make a lot of the aspects of the wedding; the bouquets, boutonnieres, garter, table decorations, & guest gifts. Friends & family also played the role DJ, photographer, minister, & coordinator. It wasn’t just about celebrating their love for each other, but about joining two families & celebrating that greater love for one another. They chose a boho/vintage theme for the wedding with tans, silvers, & soft pinks. The venue, The Foundry, was open & airy with exposed brick walls – a blank canvas. Twinkle lights hung over their heads, ribbons, lace & fabric draped all around, & multi-colored wine bottles & flowers were used as centerpieces. They threw everyone a loop & had casual floor seating around wooden tables to encourage playfulness and conversation and a snocone truck, RetroSno, with personalized flavors. Lindsay & Andrew chose attire with personality that allowed them to feel free to move & have fun. They gave bridesmaids & groomsmen a general color scheme & idea of the overall vibe & let them take it from there. Everyone looked great, well coordinated, & they were able to wear something that was flattering to them and reflective of their individuality. The big day was years in the making and created gorgeous memories to cherish for years to come.
So what do you think of the way this vintage boho wedding inspiration brought the “story” of Andrew and Lindsay to life?
Are you planning on creating your wedding design around your story? What kind of things will you be doing?

This group of wedding professionals was so great to work with. Everything went so smoothly and the vision came together perfectly. Plus this couple was totally cool even in the 100 degree heat. That was really shown in the way the images turned out from Nyk & Cali.
That last tier on that cake – LOVE!
