Today’s boho chic beach wedding from Mad Love Weddings and Shelby Peaden Events is absolutely adorable! I love the vintage details and soft palette of purple, gray and a hint of pink. And I’m kind of obsessed with bride, Zoe’s, easy-breezy style and her oh-s0-gorgeous accessories. Thankfully, she’s here to share her planning insight with all of us today…
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My wedding planner Shelby Peaden went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my wedding. Shelby was so amazing during the entire planning process and on the day of wedding I had very little to worry about.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
Definitely finding someone who knew my personality and style. My wedding was in Seaside, Florida and I currently live in Dallas, Texas so finding people who could lay out what I wanted for my wedding was so important!
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
I sway toward being more boho chic than anything, I think my wedding was a great combination of my personality and my style. It couldn’t of been a better match.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
By far the ceremony. It was gorgeous and Ceremony Design Company went above and beyond to make every last detail pop.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Hmmm… my best piece of advice would definitely be : DO NOT STRESS the day of the wedding! Have a beer and enjoy the day. It goes by so quickly and it’s such a beautiful moment getting ready with your favorite people and getting pampered on your big day.
How awesome is their hand-drawn wedding signage? I especially like their Instagram sign giving their guests a personalized hashtag to compile all of the insta-candids of the day.
What about you? Are you planning a social media tie-in for your big day or do you prefer to keep your wedding unplugged and be technology free?
XOXO,
Carlee
