Ashley and Eric traveled from Chicago to Nashville, TN for their destination wedding at Historic Cedarwood, which was full of fabulous rustic details that were beautifully captured by Kristyn Hogan! According to Kristyn, the couple are avid wine enthusiasts, which is wonderfully obvious from their fun DIY details, including wine cork letters and wine bottle table numbers! I especially love the hanging bottles in shades of purple, and the popcorn bar! The resulting wedding is both sophisticated and whimsical, and the photos are drop-dead gorgeous!
As you may know, it’s one of my favorite things to take a couple’s interests and personalities and infuse them into their wedding day. I think this wedding speaks to me because they made one of their passions (wine) the whole focus of their entire wedding, and they did it so well! I love that something that the bride and groom enjoy turned into a destination location for their wedding day. We usually think of beaches when we think of destination weddings, but this gorgeous feature shows that there are a lot more possibilities.
Would you consider having a destination wedding at a non-beach location? How will you incorporate your own personalities into your destination wedding planning?
