French-Inspired "Oh La La" Bridal Shower

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you all are having a great time browsing through the new ELD! Today, I’m excited to share some inspiration for a wedding event that doesn’t always get too much attention- the bridal shower! Planned and designed by Intertwined Events, and captured by A Picture Life, this bridal shower started out as a lingerie shower, and had the tagline ‘Oh La La’ incorporated everywhere. From asking guests to give tips on making the bride’s fiancé say “oh la la”, to ranking the lingerie with paddle scorecards that read “oh la la” and “oh no no”, this French-inspired “Oh La La” bridal shower looks like it was a gorgeous blast!

I love the idea of the “scorecards” for the lingerie! And the pretty lace-wrapped vases for centerpieces are gorgeous too!

I think the place seating written on the doilies is such a great idea – classy and even could save some money. When my best friend got married we threw a combined shower of sorts when her and her fiance flew into town for the holiday. Being across states for the majority of the wedding definitely posed some obstacles. However, for the bachelorette party, all the bridesmaids flew to her and as the maid of honor I planned a weekend of different bonding activities and celebrations. It was such a great time!
