Today’s wedding is absolutely overflowing with happiness, details, and love! The bride, Leslie, was inspired by burlap and lace, and she incorporated those elements beautifully into her pink and mint color palette. Add in the fabulous photography by Katelyn James Photography, and you have yourself an absolutely gorgeous wedding! And friends, I am so excited to share it with you all today! So sit back, grab your drink-of-choice, and enjoy!
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My mom- with the help of Pinterest- did so much during the months leading up to the wedding. She put in countless hours so that my wedding could be exactly what I wanted and thanks to her it was!
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
The most important thing to us when deciding who to work with was probably their professionalism and reputation. Your wedding day is the most important day of your life so you want to make sure you can trust the people you are working with to make sure everything is how you want it to be.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
Burlap and lace was my inspiration, I wanted something simple and something that was “me”. Once I decided to get a lace dress the rest fell into place!
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
I loved my ceremony, it was intimate and personal even with 250+ guests. I also loved our flowers and details and of course our photography because now we will always have a piece of every part of our wedding thanks to the wonderful photography by Katelyn James that captures every moment.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Budget money for a good photographer! Photography is expensive these days but it is so important because it captures the memories from your special day that you don’t want to forget!
I certainly can’t argue with Leslie on her advice- a great photographer is always worth it! :)
I am absolutely LOVING the pink and mint color palette! It’s soft, but not too subdued… absolutely gorgeous! I think pink and mint might be pretty popular in coming months- and I will certainly welcome that! So brides, are any of you planning on using pink or mint in your wedding colors? Or how about burlap- will you be using any of that like Leslie did?
Vendors who made it all happen…

I think it is becoming more modern to let the groom see the bride before the wedding. It is always beautiful to see his first reaction to his bride!
