The two things that crossed my mind when I first glanced at these photos were, Oh my word that venue is amazing! And, wow! That photographer is talented! Well, the venue is the Pala Mesa Resort in California (perhaps that’s why I was immediately drawn to it being a CA girl myself), and the beautiful photography is compliments of Marissa Rodriguez Photography. What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My mother Velia was very helpful in organizing and handling tough situations. And of course Cristina. She knew what we wanted and carried out our vision.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
Quality was a big factor. We didn’t want someone over the top and cheap. We wanted someone who did quality work and looked amazing.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
We wanted our wedding to be something everyone would enjoy and still reflect our personalities.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
Favorite thing about our wedding was the location and the family party atmosphere.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Surround yourself with positive people.
