Red, White & Blue Dutch & American-Inspired Wedding

Happy 4th of July everyone! I’m going to try real hard to take today off, but a holiday in the middle of the work week is bound to mess with my routine, so we’ll see how I do! Well, today’s wedding from Ashley Bee Photography is not only awesome… it’s absolutely perfect for today! The bride and groom actually got engaged while visiting the groom’s family in Holland, which brought forth instant inspiration for their wedding! Inspired by their heritages- American for the bride, Dutch for the groom- they incorporated Dutch and American antiques and vivid red roses with a vintage style. What’s even more perfect is that the two countries share the colors of red, white, and blue, which makes it the ideal wedding for this lovely Independence Day. :)

You all know that I’m always saying your wedding should reflect you- and this wedding definitely achieved that reflection perfectly! What better way to infuse your relationship into your wedding details than to base them off of your heritage?!

Wat mooi! We’re also having a red, white and blue theme (plus orange!) He’s Dutch and I’m English, so same colour flags too! Love the cake, looks wonderful! :)
