This vintage, elegant Miami wedding by Concept Photography is an absolutely gorgeous way to end the week! With a modern and elegant color palette of yellow and white, vintage milk glass centerpieces, and a fabulous Spanish Monastery venue, I really don’t think you can go wrong. :) The lovely bride, Beng, is with us today sharing some of her insight into planning her beautiful wedding…

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

The person who helped me the most in planning is really my then fiance and now husband, Kenny.  Of course, Excel spreadsheets and online resources have been great help as well.  On the day of the wedding, my Mom and best friend were the key to my peace of mind as well as our “day of coordinator” Sonya from Chef Lars.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

The most important quality that a vendor can have is professionalism and creativity.  I am generally a very organized individual who is very good with follow up, and I expected the same thing when it came to our vendors and people we dealt with when we were planning our wedding.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

I am very much a fan of all things vintage French.  My inspiration, among many things, is the Rodin Museum in Paris.  The museum’s garden was breathtaking and the building’s details were very intricate so I wanted our wedding to have that and also a little bit of soul.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

My absolute favorite thing from our wedding was the milk glass that we used for vases and decor. I had a wonderful time collecting the milk glass and going to antique shoppes with my husband!

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

My one piece of advice for other brides is to be yourself and have fun!  Wedding planning could be stressful but it can also be a great way of getting your creative juices stirring and flowing!

Be yourself and have fun- that is great advice Beng! Thank you so much for sharing your wedding with us! And a big huge thank you to Concept Photography for capturing everything so very gorgeously, as always! :)

What do you all think of the vintage, elegant style of this wedding? How about the colors? I love anything and everything with yellow- it’s always so cheerful! :)
