I am so incredibly excited to finally share this wedding with you all! It’s the wedding of my friends Andy and Ashley. Andy is one of the owners of Indie Atlantic Films, and Ashley is an incredibly creative crafting queen, so I KNEW their wedding was going to be full of details! Which is why this a DOOZY of a post, and it’s only Part 1! It’s tough to choose photos when a) you know the bride and groom, b) they are so incredibly adorable and so in love, and c) the images from Robert Madrid Photography are amazing! You’re going to love it!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

Our wedding designer (Liz Chinchilla) was the biggest help to us in making our dream become a reality.  Our vision was to create a magical, romantic, fun, and relaxed day for all of our friends/family.  Most importantly, we wanted to “Tell Our Story” through all of our details.  Liz took our vision/ideas and she ran with it.  She’s one of those people that can make something spectacular with little resources! With my mom living out of town, Liz was an essential person for me to be able to rely on.  We stayed up late making handmade details, she designed our invitations, save-the-dates, and programs. She created a drawing of Andy and I to go into our “Storybook” invitations and even made the drawing come to life with a handmade cake-topper.  We are so thankful for Liz and know we couldn’t have done it without her!  Having a wedding designer is an absolute MUST HAVE when it comes to wedding planning.  She helped me stick to my vision and not get distracted by all the million other ideas there are out there.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

We were fortunate enough that my husband is a videographer (www.IndieAtlanticFilms.com) so he already had lots of connections within the wedding industry.  For the vendors we had to find outside of those connections, I looked for professionalism, reliability, and quality.  We were beyond happy with all of our vendors and the services they provided!

Amazingness, and this is only Part 1! Part 2 is coming up next, and it’s FULL of details, and a video too! You can’t feature the wedding of a videographer and NOT have the video too, right?! :)
