So you don’t have the budget to have a totally high end wedding- not many people do. But chances are good that you have a little extra room in your budget for little upgrades that will make your wedding *that* much better. It doesn’t have to be totally upgraded, just a little. And you don’t need a couple hundred dollars extra- you can spend just a couple of dollars to take your wedding up a notch.
A few examples….
A cool specialty linen for your sweetheart table and cake table. They’re the most photographed places for your wedding, so don’t you want them to look awesome?! (Take it one more step and add pipe-and-drape behind these tables too. There’s nothing more unattractive than a door/fire alarm/AC controller behind your sweetheart or cake table!)

Chair décor for your and your new husband’s chairs. You’ve seen them- the signs or letters that say “Mr” and “Mrs” and hang from the backs of your chairs. Just know what types of chairs you’ll have and how they’ll attach to the chairs!

A brooch for your bouquet. You can get brooches at many different stores- or you can get sentimental and use one of your grandmother’s or mother’s. Adding a brooch to your bouquet will make it look a little upgraded from the normal stem- wrap.

Chargers. They’re a great little bit of décor to add to your table. You can have traditional chargers or you can make cool paper chargers from scrapbook paper. Either way you do it, it’ll cost you about $1 per charger.

See what a difference these little things make? If you don’t have money to upgrade everywhere (aka you’re not taking out any personal loans!), upgrade just a little bit, focusing on your sweetheart (or head) table and cake table! Remember- if something is going to cost you a little bit of extra money, but give you a big bang for your buck, then do it. It’s going to be money well spent!
