Beautiful blues and cream, soft wood tones, and a toile pattern gave a simple French countryside type of charm to today’s French Hens themed style in our 12 Days of Christmas Tabletops series.
Catch some the details behind the inspiration from Ashton Events and Treasury Rentals along with the beautiful images captured by Jenna Nicole Photography.
Laura from Ashton Events:
“From the beginning of our brainstorming each of the themes, we knew we had to use the beautiful Navy Jamestown linen from Nuage Designs, Inc.. With a French toile pattern, it was the perfect link for our French Hens theme. Creating an arrangement of white blooms added a soft compliment to the patterned tabletop. Including wood accents in the arrangement and in the chargers gave a subtle farmhouse feel that we loved for this style.”
Emily from Treasury Rentals:
“We loved how simple and preppy this style turned out. We wanted to keep the settings fairly minimal with subtle pops that tied the design together as to really allow the pattern of the linen to really make the statement. White plates paired with the light wood of the driftwood charger gave added to the French country style, and pairing it with the modern white and gold Goa flatware and a duo of navy goblets, it added just the perfect amount of pop.”
Like many of the other designs we’ve seen, we love how we see the possibilities to transform through the seasons and remain relevant. This simple preppy style would make a beautiful spring and summer look, but we love how they pulled it off for this subtle Christmas-themed style reference.
Make sure you catch all of the other looks in this series as we celebrate the countdown to Christmas Day!
